President Bush Proposes Insurance Plan

President Bush has proposed treating employer insurance as income. This is his idea and way to level the increase the tax revenue at the Federal level - to pay for something. And that something is assistance for the poor to get insured. It seems to be a little more of the Federal Government playing Robin Hood again. However, the President also wants to make the cost of buying the health insurance tax deductible at up to $15,000.

While this seems like a reasonable goal, it may not be the best solution, and is sure to get opposition from both houses of Congress. Our medical plan - Ameriplan Health® proposes the need to for driving down the cost of health care, rather than just focusing on giving people the means to pay for ever increasing prices.

Ameriplan Health® provides contract agreements allowing our customers to receive 50% off most medical services. It is the consumer driven health care plans such as Ameriplan® that will help drive costs out of the system, and make health care more competitive.
