How Does the Ameriplan® Vision Plan Work?
The Ameriplan® Vision plan is very easy to use. On your Ameriplan® membership card, the vision plan will refer to a service called “Coast - to - Coast.” When you visit the eyeglass center or opthalmist you will tell them you are a coast - to - coast member with Ameriplan® and show them your membership card or membership number. Vision providers in our network accept Coast-to-Coast vision plan.
You can expect to save about 50% on lenses and frames and 20% on other features such as scratch resistance, etc. Exams typically give you a big % discount. The discount is usually approximately 80%, and you should expect to pay about $10 for an eye exam.
