This is going to be a descriptive article on how Ameriplan® works. These dentists, for example, have contracted with Ameriplan® to be included in our network; and they in turn have agreed to honor Ameriplan®’s regional fee schedules.
So what’s in it for the dentist or doctor? Well, simply put, they save a lot of money by being in our network and they pass most of that savings on to you. At the same time, because Ameriplan®’s member pool is so large, they increase in volume of business. You, our Ameriplan® member will pay the discounted rate at the time of service, so the dentist gets paid in cash immediately, no claim forms, no waiting on reimbursement from insurance companies and no paperwork. They also can cut their advertising budget because if you are an Ameriplan® member, you must go to one of our providers in our network. Again, Ameriplan® has a huge number of members so it is easier for our providers to get business.
