Ameriplan Health® & Dental Information

Ameriplan® has dropped the Ameriplan® Basic Health program in favor of a lower cost more basic option – Ameriplan Basic Wellness®. Basic Wellness® is just $14.95 per month for an entire household and includes our prescription drug, vision, nurseline and hearing discount programs.

Just today, AmeriPlan® has ceased the work of expanding our health and dental network temporarily. This is great news! The reason for the suspension of the the network building of providers is that the network now has more than enough capacity to handle all our existing customer base. Therefore, AmeriPlan® will wait for the memberships to expand to the point of needing more providers. This means there are more than enough providers for you the member.

There has never been a better time to join our discount medical and dental program than right now. AmeriPlan®’s network of providers has never been stronger, and our pricing is just right!

This is going to be a descriptive article on how Ameriplan® works. How is it that you can save money by using Ameriplan® for your basic medical needs, all of your dental needs, and your vision, prescription drug, and chiropractic care as well? Why would doctors and dentists agree to give you such deep discounts when you use your Ameriplan® membership?

How Ameriplan® works is fairly simple. Ameriplan® has done all of the ground work in building our vast nationwide network of medical and dental providers. These dentists, for example, have contracted with Ameriplan® to be included in our network; and they in turn have agreed to honor Ameriplan®’s regional fee schedules.

You, our Ameriplan® member will pay the discounted rate at the time of service, so the dentist gets paid in cash immediately, no claim forms, no waiting on reimbursement from insurance companies and no paperwork. They also can cut their advertising budget because if you are an Ameriplan® member, you must go to one of our providers in our network. Again, Ameriplan® has a huge number of members so it is easier for our providers to get business.

Not so complicated is it?

Ameriplan® continues to build our proprietary medical program network. On November 6 of this year, Kentucky became the 25th state or territory that has the proprietary Ameriplan® medical network. The other areas and states where our medical program is available use the Ameriplan® partner – BeachStreet medical network to deliver the medical program service. Ameriplan®’s goal is it eventually build or own proprietary medical program network for all our customers in the entire USA. So far the list of areas and states that have the Ameriplan® network available for the medical program are: Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connnecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii (Island of Oahu),
Ilinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.
