March 30th, 2006

The Government continued to push free market economics into the health care sector. In another development that continues that trend, the U.S. Senate passed a bill that will override state laws and allow small businesses to band together to purchase insurance in volume. It seems President Bush and Congress are finally trying to catch up to Ameriplan® in revolutionizing the health care system!

Dental Care

March 22nd, 2006

Everyone has heard that it is important to see your dentist at least every six months for a cleaning and checkup. Yet, for some reason many people do not get this done each year. It is important because not matter how much you rinse, brush, and floss, it is almost impossible to eliminate all tartar and plaque build up . Any plaque that is left on your teeth after brushing and flossing turns into a hard tartar within only 24 hours. This is why after 6 months the average person has some build up of tartar that needs to be cleaned.

Supplement Ameriplan Health® with High Deductible Insurance

March 20th, 2006

If you sign up for our medical program it is a good idea to supplement your discount savings with insurance. You can purchase high deductible or catastrophic health insurance for affordable amounts of money. This strategy can really protect you and your family.

You would utilize the savings from your Ameriplan Health® program for the more normal or “everyday” medical expenses, including hospitalizations. However, in the event of a major health problem - such as a heart attack and immediate open heart surgery for example - you insurance would kick in at that point. This is the best way to maximize your savings and reduce your risk level at the same time.
